As a predominantly Black, women led organization, we are fiercely passionate about addressing current health disparities that leave Black women three times more likely to die from a pregnancy-related cause than White women. The majority of these deaths are preventable. Birth Culture is committed to providing programming and services that can address the issues that lead to such health disparities. 

But we cannot do it alone. 

Through sponsorship and donations, you can help Birth Culture train youth (16-24) to become Doulas who not only possess knowledge of birthing best practices, but who are champions for birth justice and cultural empathy within the maternal healthcare field. We prioritize supporting youth pursuing careers in maternal healthcare who desire to serve marginalized communities.
